On a day full of bad news for the Cleveland Browns, there is a sliver of good news.

Cleveland has designated G Michael Dunn to return from injured reserve. Dunn had missed the last four games with a calf injury that put him on the IR.

On the same day that the Browns lost QB Deshaun Watson for the season, they are close to getting back quality offensive line depth.

The 21-day window is now open for Dunn to be able to practice before being activated. When activated, the Browns will need to cut a player so that Dunn can be added back to the 53-man roster.

Dunn has played in four games this season with one start against the 49ers in Week 5. Over the last four years, Dunn has played in 32 games with Cleveland with five starts.

Most importantly, Dunn adds versatility to the Browns. Even though he is listed as a guard, he has the ability to play at tackle if the Browns need him to. That makes him valuable to the team in tough spots.

Dunn may not be ready in Week 11 against the Steelers but he will soon be back and ready to go. A bit of good news on a tough Wednesday for the team in Cleveland.
