Latest 3-round 2026 NFL mock draft fixes a major problem the Browns have had through the first few weeks of the season

The Browns are a 1-4 football team and it’s never too early to think about what they may do next April.

The Cleveland Browns knew that they’d face an uphill climb to start the season and that’s been the case so far. As a result, the Browns are a 1-4 football team and the season is slipping away early. There are winnable games coming up for the Browns and that begins this coming Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers. This season has shown one thing for sure and that is that the Browns may have hit big with their 2025 NFL Draft class.

Quinshon Judkins was the offensive catalyst for the Browns in Week 5’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings and he looks like the real deal. Carson Schwesinger is playing at a Pro Bowl level and Mason Graham looks the part in the middle of the Browns’ defensive line. Undrafted rookie Isaiah Bond has shown promise at wideout and is an extension of the draft class. With that being said, the Browns have two first-round picks next draft and an opportunity to really improve this roster once again. Here’s my latest 3-round mock draft:

Round 1, Pick 2: OT Francis Mauigoa, Miami

The Browns have to revamp this offensive line after this season and big changes are going to be coming. While the 2026 class doesn’t look like it’s going to be great for offensive tackles, Mauigoa may be the best of the group. Cleveland could use the 6-foot-6, 315-pound tackle who is very athletic for his size. A long-term fix at left tackle would be a great outcome for the Browns, one they’ve been looking for since Joe Thomas retired.

Round 1, Pick 26: WR Chris Bell, Louisville

Poor quarterback play may have been an issue in the first four games with Joe Flacco but he wasn’t the only issue. Cleveland’s top wideout is Jerry Jeudy and even he’s off to a slower start than you want for your top guy. The Browns badly need to add wide receiver depth and Bell has been one of the best playmakers in the country this season. After a breakout junior season clearing 700 yards, Bell is on track to be a 1,000-yard receiver for the Cardinals this season and is in the mix to be a first-rounder at 6-foot-2.

Round 2, Pick 34: S Dillon Thieneman, Oregon

Thieneman would give the Browns a stud across from Grant Delpit and a player who finds the ball in the defensive backfield. After two standout years at Purdue with six interceptions and over 200 total tackles, Thieneman is now starring at Oregon where he’s translated well. Ronnie Hickman has been solid for the Browns but the Oregon safety brings a much higher ceiling.

Round 3, Pick 66: QB Drew Allar, Penn State

Allar is a Northeast Ohio native and has been connected to the Browns for the last couple of draft cycles. Allar has everything you want in a quarterback’s build at 6-foot-5 and 235 pounds, but he’s just never been able to put it all together. Reading a defense and making quick decisions and having consistency have hurt Allar at times and he doesn’t look like the future first-round pick some thought he could be. Here the Browns add another quarterback they hope they can develop into the guy.
