This was a big enough week considering the Super Bowl is on deck, but the NBA took things up a notch thanks to the epic Luka Doncic-Anthony Davis (plus more) trade between the Los Angeles Lakers and Dallas Mavericks.

The trade shook people not just around the NBA, but around the sports world. In fact, people are still talking about it like the news just broke and it'll be something people talk about years down the road.

A lot of people have been trying to think up an NFL comparison, but it's such an unprecedented trade in terms of player status, age, positions played, and overall compensation that it's hard to put anything in NFL history up side-by-side to that of Doncic-AD.

Cleveland Browns star defensive end Myles Garrett did recently draw up a hypothetical blockbuster trade on the Rich Eisen Show in an effort to make a comparison and it actually made a bit of sense.

"I feel like it'd be like a [Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman] Chris Jones for [Buffalo Bills quarterback] Josh Allen," Garrett said. "That's as similar as a comparison I can make it and you know, even then it's not a one-to-one [comparison]. It was just shocking."

Davis plays a completely different position and role than Doncic on the hardwood and that's the backbone of Garrett's idea. Allen would be the Doncic in this scenario – the ultra-talented point guard who can effectively distribute to teammates across the board but can also completely take over a game. And then there's Jones as AD – the elite defender that just can't be blocked or stopped when things are clicking.

It wouldn't be the same as pitching a trade involving an elite left tackle for a cornerback or anything of that ilk, which is why Garrett's idea is closer to any hypothetical or realistic trade scenario.

And I'm sure for his own realistic trade scenario, Garrett has a few teams in mind. But, only time will tell if he eventually suits up for any of them in the future.

"I'm sure people are calling and hopefully making some tempting offers," Garrett said. "I'm grateful for my opportunity, and I know that most recently, no one's stuck to one team [after] seeing Luca."
