Week 16 was no different for the Cleveland Browns than much of their season to date. A 24-6 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals dropped the Browns to 3-12 on the season. Cleveland now has just two games remaining this year.

There wasn’t much food to take away from the Browns in Week 16. Cleveland went from Jameis Winston to Dorian Thompson-Robinson and the Cleveland offense struggled as much as they had at any point this season.

One bright spot on the day came for All-Pro pass rusher Myles Garrett, who reached a unique NFL record. Garrett became the first NFL player to reach 100 career sacks before they turned 29 years old.

It was a fitting sack for Garrett, who brought down Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow for a ninth time in his career to record sack No. 100.5. Garrett has sacked Burrow more than he’s brought down any other quarterback in the NFL.

Cleveland’s year hasn’t gone to plan, so Myles Garrett isn’t going to be in contention to defend his Defensive Player of the Year award. It has still been a special year for No. 95, who now has 12 sacks on the year. Garrett has recorded 12 sacks for five seasons straight now.

Garrett is the best defender this franchise has seen and he hasn’t gotten to do as much winning as a future Pro Football Hall of Fame member probably should. Garrett reaching 100 sacks so quick just goes to show how great of a player he really is for Cleveland.

The Browns will play their final home game of the season next Sunday when they host the Miami Dolphins at 4:05 p.m. ET.
