One member of the Browns is on track to be one of the greatest to do it with his latest feat.

With two sacks against the Indianapolis Colts, Myles Garrett’s 82 career sacks are the most by a player before their 28th birthday. Previously, Reggie White had held that record but Garrett has captured it with two months until his birthday.

Garrett was a menace to the Colts’ offense in Week 7. Cleveland’s defense did not play to their high expectation but Garrett still stepped up big time. The star pass rusher had two forced fumbles, one for a touchdown, as well as a blocked field goal.

In 2023, Garrett is on track to have his best season yet. Through six games, Garrett has 7.5 sacks. In the last two seasons, Garrett recorded 16 sacks each, which is his career-high.

Cleveland does not win in Week 7 without Garrett, to be honest, it is probably not even close.

Bruce Smith has the sack record with 200 of them. Garrett would have to play a long healthy career to reach that number, though he’s on track to be one the best to do it. This stat shows just that.
