Tonight is a big night for Monday Night Football, not just because there are two games on either.
ESPN will debut a new Monday Night Football anthem that features country music star Chris Stapleton and legendary rapper Snoop Dogg.
Cleveland Browns play on ABC at 8:15 p.m. against the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints will face off at 7:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.
It is quite interesting that Stapleton is singing Phil Collins’ well-known song “In The Air Tonight”. They surely could have cut Collins a nice check and he probably could have done it at 72 years old, since it is his song. ESPN’s reasoning was likely for Stapleton to connect with the younger audience better than Collins could, who many may not know.
Everyone knows Snoop, so he was an easy choice to put on the air, who doesn’t like him?
Football season is in full swing now in Week 2 and we will have a new theme song to listen to throughout the 2023 season on Monday nights.
An important element works in Deshaun Watson’s favor big time tonight
This will surely help the Cleveland Browns’ quarterback.
