Just one preseason game remains for teams around the NFL that are ironing out the final pieces of their roster.

Players who are looking to make one last imprint will have their chance this weekend. The Cleveland Browns have a few players on the roster bubble to pay attention to.

Saturday night’s preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks will be the last exhibition before the Browns are forced to make roster cuts. Below are three well-known Browns players that could be on their way out.

DT Siaki Ika

Cleveland hasn’t had Ika around long at all but it has not taken much time to see that it isn’t going to work out. Ika has had a chance to prove himself this training camp and has not done so yet. Andrew Berry doesn’t like to cut his draft picks early, but this may be one where he needs to.

Ika gets blown off the ball often and that was apparent in the second preseason game against the Vikings. Not athletic enough to be a 3-tech and hasn’t fit in as a run plugger. Cleveland has other defensive tackle options they could choose to keep over Ika to help them now. In the final preseason game, I expect Ika to get plenty of run and one last chance.

QB Tyler Huntley

Cleveland looks like they had a plan to move whoever didn’t win their QB3 battle, but there has been no movement as of yet. Dorian Thompson-Robinson likely has the spot all but locked up, so Huntley gets one more game to show his worth to other teams around the league.

Surely, the Browns would love to keep Huntley on their practice squad but there is no sure word that will happen. The former Raven didn’t play well against the Vikings last week with a pair of interceptions and it appeared that DTR took a firm lead for the job.

Cleveland has plenty of quarterback depth right now but only room for three. Huntley is very much so on the outside looking in.

S D’Anthony Bell

Bell is a player who has been on the team for the last two seasons after making it in 2022 as an undrafted free agent. Currently on the PUP list, Bell has to be on the outside looking in to make this team. The Browns have their top four safeties with Grant Delpit, Juan Thornhill, Rodney McLeod, and Ronnie Hickman.

Having not participated in training camp, it makes sense for the Browns to part ways with a player who has not been able to earn his spot during camp. Cleveland very well could look to get him to the practice squad, but I only see four safeties on the initial 53-man roster.
