Cleveland Browns have been blessed with the presence of Nick Chubb since drafting him out of Georgia, back in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Since then, Chubb has been perhaps the NFL’s best back and stands out in one category that further proves just how good he has been.

Since 2021, no running back is a better chain mover in the NFL than Chubb this stat shows. It’s not all that close, as Chubb has 88 carries that went for more than 10 yards. Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor is next with 71, and he will miss the first four weeks at least. So, expect that lead to be extended.

This stat alone shows the burst and vision that Chubb plays the game with, it’s what has made him possibly the best pure runner in the game. Combine that with the tackle-breaking ability and that’s how Chubb has had so many carries for at least 88 yards. It doesn’t hurt that Cleveland boasts a very good run-blocking offensive line, as well.

Chubb had a career-high 1,525 rushing yards in 2022 and has shown no signs of slowing down. That may give Cleveland the green light to extend him for a couple more years. The expectation is next offseason those talks will come about.

But for the time being, Browns’ fans should cherish No. 24 in Cleveland because there are not many doing what he does.
