Cleveland Browns are ending the regular season in a good spot in the NFL power rankings.

After finishing 11-6 on the season, the Browns finished the 2023 campaign at the No. 6 spot in SI’s NFL power rankings. In years past, the Browns would be lucky to sniff the top 10 in power rankings. It’s something that Browns fans can get used to.

Cleveland ended the season by resting their starters and falling to the Cincinnati Bengals. Now, all attention turns to the playoffs.

“I am not one to gush over any moves made by Browns’ ownership, but I did enjoy the team handing Joe Flacco $75,000 for a bonus he would not have picked up otherwise. I just feel like he’s going to buy a nice tractor, or, like a warm sweater, or a new set of golf clubs with the money.” – Conor Orr, Sports Illustrated

Wild Card Weekend will have the Browns on the road to Houston, playing the Texans. It won’t be like Week 16 when the Browns took care of Houston handily. C.J. Stroud will be healthy for this game and the Browns’ defense will have to step up in a big way to stop their passing attack.
