Cleveland Browns are back at home in Week 11 where they will host the Pittsburgh Steelers, as both teams want to pick up win No. 7.

For the Browns, they’ll be rolling with rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson after losing Deshaun Watson for the season. It’ll be the rookie’s second start this season.

Both squads are coming off of wins and a win would be big in the AFC for either team, especially with the Bengals and Bills losing.

Can Dorian Thompson-Robinson improve from his first start?

Back in Week 4 against the Ravens, things went ugly for DTR and he turned the ball over three times. This time there has been plenty of talk on how he will be more prepared. The Steelers are no easy test, so he’ll have to go out and prove that.

Will protection hold up for the rookie?

Cleveland is without Jedrick Wills Jr., so he will have Geron Christian starting in his place. Last week it was Christian and James Hudson was the right tackle. Fortunately, the Browns are getting rookie RT Dawand Jones back. T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith had a big hand in the Steelers defeating Cleveland in Week 2, the Browns can’t allow that again.

Does Cleveland win their first game after losing Deshaun Watson?

It’s the first game that Cleveland will play after learning their starting quarterback is done for the season. There are plenty who believe the Browns will spiral downward from here and the season will finish tough. If Cleveland comes out and wins in Week 11, it would be a big response for them.

3 Players to watch

  • QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson: The rookie will have a lot of fans in Cleveland if he can at least be average and keep the job the rest of the way. Cleveland doesn’t need DTR to be great, they’ve shown they can beat good teams with not-so-great quarterback play due to their defense and run game. If DTR can get things going, he could be pretty exciting.
  • RT Dawand Jones: Jones has already gone up against T.J. Watt once in his rookie season, so he’s not going to be caught off guard with the great pass rusher. If he
  • CB Denzel Ward: Ward exited early on against the Ravens with a neck injury but is back on the field in Week 11. The first matchup these two teams played did not have Diontae Johnson, who Ward will match up a bunch with. Cleveland wins this game if they don’t allow Kenny Pickett and his receivers to strike on big plays.
