The Cleveland Browns are trying to win their second game in a row today when visiting the Indianapolis Colts.

After surprising much of the NFL world with a win over the San Francisco 49ers last week, the Browns will likely get Deshaun Watson back today against the Colts.

How will Deshaun Watson look after injury?

Watson is likely to be back after missing the last two games with a bruised rotator cuff. In the game he was injured and played through, he had perhaps his best game as a member of the Browns. It’ll be interesting to see what level Watson is playing at in Week 7.

How will the defense fare against Jonathan Taylor?

It’ll be Taylor’s third week back so his usage is going to continue to go up. Cleveland’s defense has been great this year and that includes against the run. Taylor is one of the best in the game, Cleveland will have to account for him in the receiving game too.

Can Jedrick Wills Jr. make it two straight games he’s played decent?

Last week in the win over the San Francisco 49ers, Wills had his best game of what has been a really poor season for him. If Wills can stack two weeks of solid play together, it could be huge in getting him on track. Samson Ebukam and Kwity Paye handle the edge rushing for Indy.

3 Players to watch

  • QB Deshaun Watson: As stated, it’ll be interesting to see how Week 7 goes for Watson in his first game back. In 2023, the Browns go as far as Watson can take the offense despite the hot start by the defense. If Watson can stay clean and not then the ball over, it would be a win in his first game back.
  • DT Dalvin Tomlinson: The Colts are going to want to run the ball with Jonathan Taylor and Zack Moss, this is where Cleveland’s interior play steps in. Tomlinson stands out in pass rushing and did as much last week, but his presence will be needed again today.
  • WR Donovan Peoples-Jones: It has been a 2023 season for the fourth-year wideout to this point. Peoples-Jones has just six catches and is on pace to have quite the regression from last season. The Colts have issues in the secondary, is this the game that DPJ gets going?
