Can the Browns contain Derrick Henry?

Tennessee is going to want to get the offense going with Derrick Henry. They’ll use their running game to open up the play action and Ryan Tannehill throwing the football. The defensive line has to continue playing at a high level and wrapping up will be key. Back to the basics.

Will Deshaun Watson finally answer the call?

There is worry in Cleveland at the quarterback position. Through eight total games with the Browns, Watson is yet to show that signature game that proves he is worth everything that Cleveland gave up.

What does the running game look like?

It will be Jerome Ford’s first career start and Kareem Hunt’s first game of the 2023 season. Cleveland establishing the run early on would be big for the confidence of the team after losing Nick Chubb. The Titans have a stout run defense, it’s going to be tough.

3 Players to watch

  • RB Kareem Hunt: Hunt has lost 10 pounds and kept himself in good shape while he was a free agent. That’s the exact reason he’s playing already despite starting to practice midweek for the first time. Hunt has familiarity with this team, obviously, it’ll be interesting to see what he can do.
  • LT Jedrick Wills: Jedrick Wills is playing very poorly to start the season and is a big issue on the left side. Alex Highsmith beat him badly last week, he needs to play better this week.
  • QB Deshaun Watson: As mentioned, Watson needs to show at least a sign of being worth what the Browns gave up. Against the Titans’ defense that brings a tough defensive line, Watson is going to have to protect the ball and throw it away when needed. A game with no turnovers would be huge for him.
