With the Super Bowl now over, the NFL offseason is in full swing for the Dallas Cowboys and the 31 other teams.

For you degenerates, that means it is officially Draft season. For you true sickos, some of you are looking ahead to the 2025 NFL Draft.

A to Z Sports own Travis May, recently went full sicko mode and released a way-too-early 2025 round one mock draft

In this mock draft, May had the Dallas Cowboys select new Alabama Crimson Tide center, Parker Brailsford. May had this to say about the selection:

There were only two sophomores who played significant time for the national champion runner-up Washington Huskies last fall and Parker Brailsford was the most important one. He was the anchor of the Huskies offensive line at center, and will now certainly find similar success for Alabama. He should easily be the best center prospect in 2025 and the Cowboys need a new young long-term prospect there.

This selection is interesting for a primary reason: It's a reality check for Cowboys fans ahead of this year's Draft. If you go back to the present, a popular mock draft selection for the Cowboys in the 2024 NFL Draft is Oregon center, Jackson Powers-Johnson.

After the Senior Bowl, however, Powers-Johnson has been gaining more and more traction so there is no guarantee he will even be available when the Cowboys are on the clock. Rob Gregson from A to Z Sports had a source at the Senior Bowl tell him: "Top 13 is a little rich, but no way he slips out of the first round. That's saying a lot for a center."

There is still a glimmer of hope for Cowboys fans as center is viewed as one of the least valuable positions on offense. Tyler Linderbaum was viewed as an elite draft prospect just two years ago. He was a top-10 talent on many experts draft boards and the NFL let him fall to pick 25.

If Powers-Johnson is the pick this year, that virtually guarantees that the Cowboys won't go center the next year, but after all this is a way-too-early mock draft so a lot is subject to change.
