Almost immediately after the Dallas Cowboys beat the Philadelphia Eagles by 20 points, betting odds for next week immediately came out.

It's safe to say the oddsmakers hit the Cowboys with a slight dose of disrespect: They're considered underdogs heading into Week 15 against the Buffalo Bills.

Now granted, it's a road game for Dallas and the Bills are favored by just 1.5 points. Home field advantage is often valued anywhere around 2 to 3 points in the betting markets, suggesting the Cowboys would be favored in a neutral field. But it's still a surprise that the Cowboys aren't favored considering they're insane record against the spread this season (9-4) and their league-leading point differential of +188.

Weather could be a factor in Cowboys vs. Bills

The oddsmakers' opinion on the game also considers it's not only fans that will be working against the Cowboys but weather. Last time the Bills played at home in Week 15, we got the crazy snow game against the Miami Dolphins.

Per AccuWeather, Highmark Stadium is projected to see "a little rain in the morning; otherwise, cloudy" with temperatures around 49°. It could certainly be much worse but weather updates will be important to monitor for the rest of the week.

One thing is for sure: Josh Allen is a legit threat to the defense. The only reason why he's not in the MVP conversation is his team's win-loss record of 7-6. Other than that, he's been one of the best quarterbacks this year. While many people are focusing on Allen's nine-game interception streak, his turnover worthy play percentage is one of the best in the league.

It'll be a huge quarterback battle in Week 15. But Dak Prescott – who is the MVP favorite – and the Cowboys will surely be up for it. Dak Prescott leads the NFL in adjusted EPA/play and each week it seems like the offense gets better and better.

Cowboys Nation should enjoy the recent win over the Philadelphia Eagles but with a game this good in store for the NFL world, it's tough not to look ahead this early.
