It is currently All-Star weekend. In the NBA, not the NFL.

A big part of the NBA All-Star weekend are the events that lead up to the game itself.
Events such as the three-point shootout, and slam dunk contest captivate the eyes of fans everywhere.

However, there is one event that allows celebrities and All-Stars from other sports to try their hand at basketball. This is where Dallas Cowboys superstar Micah Parsons comes in.

The two-time First-Team All-Pro got an invite to the 2024 NBA All-Star celebrity game. Not only did he just receive an invite, he flat-out dominated the game.

Parsons stuffed the stat sheet with a jaw-dropping 37 points, 16 rebounds, and 4 steals on his way to winning the MVP of the game.

Parsons wasn't the only NFL player in the game as Houston Texans' rookie phenom CJ Stroud was playing as well, among others. And Parsons would give him the business throughout the night.

This is even more impressive when you hear about Stroud's' basketball background in high school. In that clip, Stroud said he scored 40 points on current Miami Heat star Jaime Jaquez. Parsons and Stroud discussed it in a recent episode of Micah's controversial podcast.

When you take that into account and see what Micah did last night, it makes the performance even more impressive.

With Micah's impressive performance, many will ask "could he have had a career as a basketball player?" It is important to remember that this is a celebrity game, and the quality of play from NBA players to celebrities is a steep, steep drop. But when you hear that Parsons averaged 20-20 in high school, he should have at least been able to play college basketball somewhere.

Luckily for Cowboys fans, he chose football.
