Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Micah Parsons was looking like his usual self on Sunday as he recorded two sacks in the first quarter and continued to generate pressure consistently when an odd update was brought up by Kristi Scales, the team's sideline reporter.
Parsons was vomiting on the sidelines. Later in the game, while Parsons kept playing, the team reportedly clarified that the superstar defender was not sick.
At the time of this writing, the Cowboys lead the Panthers 17-10 in the third quarter. Parsons has looked dominant despite the reported situation. He's made big plays while rushing from the interior defensive line, as a blitzing off-ball linebacker, and has consistently drawn double teams.
Micah hasn't even looked slow during the game, with both his sacks (up until now) coming in plays that displayed elite speed. One came in a pick-your-poison type play in a one-on-one situation and the other in a stunt, which you can see below.
Surely, the Cowboys' coaching staff will face many questions about Parsons once postgame interviews take place. Here's hoping it's nothing to be worried about.
UPDATE: Micah Parsons revealed the pregame decision that led to his vomiting on the sidelines. You can read the story below for additional clarity.
