The Dallas Cowboys have a new hurdle to clear ahead of the regular season. As training camp rages on, superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons has requested a trade from Dallas – with a strong message on social media. Another one of the top talents for Dallas has now chimed in on the situation as well.

“Yes I wanted to be here. I did everything I could to show that I wanted to be a Cowboy and wear the star on my helmet. I wanted to play in front of the best fans in sports and make this America’s team once again. The team my pops and I grew up cheering for way up in Harrisburg, PA. Unfortunately I no longer want to be here,”
“I no longer want to be held to closed-door negotiations without my agent present. I no longer want shots taken at me for getting injured while laying it on the line for the organization, our fans and my teammates. I no longer want narratives created and spread to the media about me.”

CeeDee Lamb reacts to Micah Parsons trade request

Shortly after news broke regarding Parson’s intentions, the star wideout for Dallas made his opinion clear. Lamb wants Parsons to get an extension from the Cowboys. He posted a story on Instagram with a straightforward message, “SMH” (meaning shaking my head).

Lamb also followed up that IG story post with a message on X/Twitter. He’s clearly tired of the drama involving the Cowboys front office in this situation.

Never fails dawg. Just pay the man, what you owe em. No need for the extra curricular” — Lamb via X/Twitter

DeMarvion Overshown, Trevon Diggs, and Juanyeh Thomas all now have Micah Parsons profile pictures on social media, too. His teammates are rallying around him, and fans will probably appreciate that amidst this stressful contract situation.

Parsons has recorded 52.5 sacks in his first four campaigns in the pros. Parsons and Reggie White are the only defensive players to total at least twelve sacks in each of their first four seasons at the NFL level. He is one of the greatest talents in football.

Now, he wants out of Dallas.
