Dallas Cowboys fans have known for years that defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence has a fiery style when he's in front of the microphones and cameras.

He has a strong personality and he will never shy away from dropping some epic quotes. Usually, these were aimed at Cowboys' opponents. But now, Lawrence represents The Star no more, as he signed a three-year deal worth $42 million with the Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday.

It took him one day at the new job to take a savage shot at the Cowboys.

"Dallas is my home, I made my home there, my family lives there, and I'm forever going to be there, but I know for sure I'm not going to win a Super Bowl there," Lawrence told Brian Nemhauser during an interview for Hawk Blogger. "So… yeah, we here."

What's more, Lawrence took his shot completely unprompted. Nemhauser simply asked about the biggest difference between being in Seattle and Texas.

Fans are surely not going to appreciate D-Law's message to Dallas but at the end of the day, it makes sense. From his perspective, the Cowboys didn't want to pay him again. I can't hate on players for having a competitive mindset and taking on a "me versus the world" approach to things. You do you, No. 90.

With that being said, as critical as I've been of the Cowboys' handling of this offseason, I believe they did right by not paying Lawrence what the Seahawks are now that he's reunited with DL coach Aden Durde.

Lawrence will be 33 years old when the season starts and coming off of a Lisfranc injury (foot), who knows what to expect of his 12th season in the league. With that being said he couldn't have asked for a better situation as he joins a talented DL that has DE Boye Mafe and DT Leonard Williams in it.

As for his Super Bowl hopes, the betting world doesn't see much of a difference between the Cowboys and the Seahawks. Both are listed as longshots at +3000 odds to win the NFC Conference at DraftKings.
