The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a huge win against the Philadelphia Eagles and their immediate reward is a road game against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills in Week 15.
Gotta love the NFL schedule-makers, right?
Regardless, the 'Boys are going to need all hands on deck for Sunday's big showdown. Therefore, it's great news that both wide receiver Brandin Cooks and cornerback Stephon Gilmore are expected to play. Both players were listed as questionable with an illness on the Cowboys' final injury report.
Cooks has really turned it on over the last month and change. He's established himself as the Cowboys' deep threat in the passing attack and has recorded 22 receptions for 369-yards and three touchdowns over the last five games. Gilmore, on the other hand, has been worth every penny the team spent on his acquisition and has vastly outplayed the fifth-rounder Dallas sent the Indianapolis Colts. He and DaRon Bland are the ultimate pairing of veteran savvy and youthful explosion.
The Cowboys are currently 2-point underdogs, which makes sense considering the fact they have to travel and even though the Bills are 1-1 over their last two games, they've looked a lot like the team many expected them to be in the preseason. Having both Cooks and Gilmore on the field will go a long way toward upsetting the Bills.
