The Denver Broncos continued their winning ways in front of Broncos Country, dismantling the Dallas Cowboys en route to a 44-24 victory.

In the win, quarterback Bo Nix made a statement, throwing for just under 250 yards while adding four scores on the day. It was an elite performance from the second-year signal-caller, and it should give fans plenty of hope for the future of the quarterback position.

Nix shared the wealth in the contest, throwing touchdowns to receivers Troy Franklin and Pat Bryant, in addition to rookie running back RJ Harvey. For Bryant, it was his first NFL score, and Nix’s selfless act after throwing the touchdown has quickly gone viral. It’s exactly what fans were hoping to see from Nix as he continues to improve his game and his leadership both on and off the field.

Immediately after the beautiful pass to Bryant, Nix sprinted down the field to make sure that his teammate got the football, ensuring the moment would live forever for Bryant. He got the ball and quickly handed it to Bryant before embracing him near the end zone.

Bryant opens up about his touchdown celebration after the win vs. the Cowboys

What may have been better than the selfless act and even the pass itself was Bryant’s celebration following the touchdown. The rookie hit the Mile High Salute, which is a sign of respect for the military made famous by former Broncos running back Terrell Davis. After the game, Bryant discussed the decision and what went into the thought process behind it.

“I just wanted to make sure I got the Mile High Salute in, especially with the throwbacks,” Bryant said. “I’ve been hearing a lot about it this week. So I mean, very special moment.”

Bryant said the celebration, in a way, was to honor Broncos history and the fan base that has embraced him since draft night. The rookie’s salute, along with Nix’s gesture, showed a glimpse of the culture Sean Payton is building in Denver: one built on respect, teamwork, and tradition.
