Every team's 2023 schedule is now out including the Denver Broncos, so now we can see who has the best advantage and who doesn't.

For the Broncos, and every other team across the league, there are always pros and cons to the schedule. The Broncos have a few of each of them.

As for the pros go, they have two straight home games to start the season, which is an advantage. Some teams, including the division rival Las Vegas Raiders, don't have a home game until Week 3. The Broncos could easily use that to start out 2-0.

But, as we said, there are some cons too. One CBS Sports analyst listed both the pros and the cons for the Broncos 2023 schedule, and things that could have a big impact on their season.

Denver Broncos
One good thing for the Broncos: Sean Payton will have a chance to get off to a quick start in Denver thanks to the fact the Broncos open with two straight games at home, making them one of just four teams in the NFL to get that this year. The Broncos will be facing the Raiders and Commanders in Weeks 1 and 2, which are both winnable games.
One bad thing for the Broncos: Although Payton probably approves of the first two games on the schedule, he's probably not going to love that Denver has a three-game road trip starting in Week 13. During that span, the Broncos will be playing in THREE different time zones (at Texans, at Chargers, at Lions). A three-game road trip is hard enough, but when you add the constant time changes, that makes it much more difficult. –John Breech, CBS Sports

One thing I don't think he mentioned is the fact that the Broncos not only have the perfect bye week, which is smack dab in the middle of the season coming in at Week 9, but they also get their two hardest games out of the way before the bye week, so they can have a bit easier time in the second half where they could possibly make a push.

They play the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6 and Week 8, which will be their two hardest matchups of the season seeing as they are the Super Bowl champions riding a 15-game win streak over their division opponent in the Denver Broncos. That's to me a huge factor in their schedule.
