The Denver Broncos got back in the win column with a dominant victory over the Cincinnati Bengals on ‘Monday Night Football.’ Ahead of the contest, quarterback Bo Nix and the offense got a boost with All-Pro return man and receiver Marvin Mims Jr. activated.

Denver’s offense and defense were buzzing all game, with big-name players like linebacker Nik Bonitto, receiver Courtland Sutton, and running back J.K. Dobbins all making an impact in the game.

While Nix had a much better day at the office, his receivers had a few costly drops throughout, which could’ve made for an even bigger day for the second-year signal caller. Despite that, Nix and the offense made a statement in the victory. This is a really good football team.

Nix tied his career high with 29 completions and set a new career best with 326 passing yards. Nix had a monster day, which could have been even better when you account for the six drops added to the mix. Nix finished his day going 29-for-42 with 326 yards and two touchdowns, with an interception in the end zone.

Nix did some damage with his legs as well, adding six carries for seven yards and the first touchdown of the day for Denver with a rushing touchdown in the team’s second series on offense.

Dobbins breaks 100 yards rushing, Mims Jr. shines, and Sutton is as advertised

For the first time in 38 games, including the playoffs, the Denver Broncos have a 100-yard rusher. Dobbins was electric in the backfield, sometimes turning nothing into a few-yard gain. The veteran running back finished the day with 16 carries for 101 yards, averaging over six yards a carry through the contest.

While not able to find the end zone, Broncos Country should be excited about his early-season output. Through four games, Dobbins has amassed 323 yards with 3 touchdowns and has proven to be a real difference-maker for the offense.

Dobbins’ counterpart, rookie RJ Harvey, did his own damage on the ground as well. Harvey finished his day with 14 carries for 58 yards and found the end zone for the first time in his career in front of the home crowd.

For Mims Jr., if there was any doubt about what type of production he would have after battling through injury, he quickly silenced any idea that he would be anything other than exceptional. Mims Jr. had six catches for 69 yards, three punt returns for 24 yards, and added one carry for 16 yards and a touchdown. He was a true game-changer on offense and special teams

Receiver Courtland Sutton deserves a shoutout for his performance as well. The Nix to Sutton connection was alive and well in Week 4 as Sutton was able to haul in five catches for a team-leading 81 yards and a touchdown.

Denver Broncos lead the league in sacks, making life difficult for Jake Browning

Broncos Country deserves its flowers for the work they put into the contest as well. Browning was having difficulties hearing anything because of how loud the crowd was.

Not surprisingly, he struggled against the stout Denver defense, finishing his day going 14-for-25 with 125 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions.

Outside of the noise from the stands, Bonitto and the defensive front for Denver made plenty of noise in the contest. Denver led the league in sacks in 2024 and is doing so again in the early stages of the 2025 season.

Denver was able to bring down Browning three times, with Bonitto having a sack and a half, fellow outside linebacker Jonathon Cooper had half a sack, and defensive end John Franklin-Myers recorded a sack as well.

Getting pressure with the front four, along with some nifty blitzes from defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, made it difficult for the Bengals to get anything going.

Denver had a whopping 512 yards of total offense and limited the Bengals to only 159 yards.

Despite some bad weather before the game, it was a beautiful night of football for the Broncos faithful, and the team bounced back in a big way.
