Chiefs, Broncos

Let's face it. The Denver Broncos are probably going to get destroyed on Sunday in Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs. I mean, based on how differently, literally they have exact opposite records, these teams' seasons are going, I think that's pretty safe to say.

The Chiefs are considered the best team in football as they sit at 9-3, and have probably the best offense in the NFL. The Broncos, are considered the worst team in the league and have the worst offense, statistically.

This season has been somewhat of a waste. But, if you ask the Chiefs offensive coordinator, former Colorado Buffalo Eric Bieniemy, he has some high praise and expectations for what this team could do on Sunday.

"They’re very good. Ok? They show up on tape for all the right reasons," Bieniemy said. "So although they are struggling, they’re still the Denver Broncos. They’re one of those teams that we know that have a great idea and feel for what we do, so it’s our job to make sure that we’re not taking anything for granted.

"I can (not) care less for what their record shows. I do know this, when you look at them defensively, they’re playing championship football. And it’s our job to make sure that our guys are ready and plugged in. They need to go out and perform.”

This is pretty high expectations we are hearing from a coach of a team that could very well win the Super Bowl this year, as he talks about a team that has just three wins 14 weeks in.

I mean, I agree with what Bieniemy said about the defense, as they do rank in the top five, at least they have for the majority of the year, in all of the main statistical categories.

As far as him saying the Broncos are a "very good" football team, I'd like to object to that statement. This team is one of the worst in the league, and that is very apparent when you watch Russell Wilson trot out onto the field.

But Bieniemy has high expectations for this team when they face the Chiefs. So, if a coach isn't taking this matchup lightly, that tells me the Broncos have a higher chance of winning than we may think. This game could be a bad matchup for the Chiefs, so who knows?
