The Chiefs and Broncos are two teams that go way back, and have more history with each other than most teams do their longtime rivals.
Between the two teams, the Chiefs have the upper hand in the all time record, as it currently stands 71-55, but it hasn’t always been that.
This off-season the Broncos made a big move in free agency by adding some great skill and experience to their edge rusher spot. They went out and got Frank Clark, who has won two Super Bowls with the Chiefs. At first it blew most people’s mind that Denver would sign him. However, after hearing about the injury to Baron Browning, it makes all the sense in the world.
Clark was a late signing, so he missed all of OTAs. However, he is at training camp, and even had one of the more weird quotes if the week.
“I wouldn’t call it a rivalry,” Clark told reporters when asked about the rivalry between the two teams. “A rivalry is competitive.”
Remember how I said the Chiefs were up 71-55? Well, they have won 15 games in a row, which, is kind of true regarding Clark’s response. But, did he have to say that?
It begs the question of: whose side are you on? Yeah, it’s true, but you could at least make it seem like the Broncos have been competitive. The last two games they have played the Broncos actually had a chance to win. In their first matchup Denver scored 21 straight points.
Now maybe Clark could actually act as an undercover agent and get some intel on the Chiefs for Denver. Lord knows they need it.

Sean Payton and George Paton are doing everything they can to turn the Denver Broncos organization around. The latest splash signing further proves that.
