The Denver Broncos finally made the move yesterday.

They relieved Nathaniel Hackett of his head coaching duties. It just didn't work out for Hackett in his first season.

Accordingly, the Broncos are clearing house to try to get a clean reset on their staff. They just announced that they are moving on from two more coaches.

Special Teams Coordinator Dwayne Stukes and Offensive Line Coach Butch Barry have been relieved of their duties.

Both units struggled for Denver. the offensive line suffered a plethora of injuries, but their play wasn't up to par regardless. The OL consistently struggled in front of Russell Wilson.

On special teams, there was plenty of inconsistency. The Broncos have been one of the worst teams in kick/punt return average this season. Turnovers have also been an issue on special teams, and that's unacceptable.

Kicker Brandon McManus hasn't had his best season, either. It made sense to  make both of these moves.

Keep in mind that the Broncos chose to bring in Barry as their OL coach rather than retaining a top OL coach Mike Munchak. That's another recent questionable decision by Denver.

The Broncos will be on the lookout for replacements over the next couple of months.
