Broncos disrespected in pre-draft power rankings
The Denver Broncos let their fan base down in 2022. That may sound harsh, but the product they put out on the field is not at all what anyone expected from that team If you say you saw that coming, you didn't. There were huge expectations for this team just a year ago, and that […]

There were huge expectations for this team just a year ago, and that started with the trading of Russell Wilson, who was supposed to be the best quarterback this team has had since Peyton Manning, and even better when you consider how old Manning was when he won the Super Bowl.
But, nothing that we thought would happen, happened. In fact, it was awful. They were the fifth-worst team in football with the worst offense in the league. Had their defense not been a top-five defense for most of the season, you could say this team was the worst team in the league, even worse than the Houston Texans.
But with the moves they have made, where they have addressed nearly every huge need and gotten better on paper, they are still being looked at as a bottom-five team, which is just disrespectful at this point.
One Pro Football Focus power rankings list has them as the 28th team before the draft, one spot lower than last year.
Biggest loss: C Graham Glasgow
Biggest gain: QB Jarrett Stidham
The signing of guard Ben Powers increases the offensive line's pass-blocking talent level by a large margin, and the addition of tackle Mike McGlinchey will make an impact in the running game. The Broncos' defense replaced Dre’Mont Jones with Zach Allen at a cheaper rate. Allen hasn’t played a full season but has performed at a high level.
That's disrespectful because how does this team get worse with a better head coach, a Super Bowl-winning one at that? They added better offensive line pieces, added some depth at wide receiver, and brought back a guy who can replace Dre'Mont Jones.
I don't understand how you can get worse as a team when everything you did in the offseason made them better.
