Denver Broncos showcased a duo in Week 3 of OTAs that we could see a lot in 2024

The Denver Broncos are starting all over again. They have been through so many quarterbacks since 2016, and they are hoping that Bo Nix, their first-round, 12th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, will be their last one for a long time. And he very well could be, based on all of the intel we are getting on him from head coach Sean Payton.
The Broncos have secured Nix and his former college teammate, wide receiver Troy Franklin. By adding Franklin to the existing strong wide receiver room, which also includes Tim Patrick, Marvin Mims, and Sutton, the Broncos are ensuring a solid support system for their rookie quarterback.
This strategy of surrounding Nix with a strong receiving corps underscores the team's commitment to developing their young quarterback, making Sutton's potential absence all the more significant. But that's a different story for a different day.
While Nix has the potential for a successful rookie season, it's crucial for him to lean on the experience and guidance of the veterans on his team. The presence of veteran weapons like Sutton, should he play, and even Tim Patrick, despite his absence in the last two seasons, could be instrumental in Nix's development.
Because of Sutton's contract situation, we could see him continue to hold out for some time. That means that Nix could build a relationship with other guys like Patrick. From what we have seen, they are already establishing a bit of rapport.
Sure, it's OTAs, but it's not crazy to say these two haven't worked together well in practice. This video is one that may seem simple, considering it's just a short route and pass, but it's the two-building chemistry nonetheless.
This is a duo we could see a ton in 2024.
