The Denver Broncos were able to fix their soon-to-be biggest problem quicker than you could say, Latavius Murray.
Yep, that is right. Shortly after the broncos found out they would lose star running back Javonte Williams for the season with a torn ACL, PCL, and LCL, they went out and signed Murray off of the New Orleans Saints practice squad.
Murray and Broncos general manager George Paton were in Minnesota together in 2017, so that's where the idea had to stem from.
Murray had an amazing game in London on Sunday morning for the Saints against the Minnesota Vikings. He finished with 11 rushes for 57 yards and a touchdown.
In his ninth season, the 6'3" running back still has some juice left, and we could see him help the Broncos for the rest of the season.
Now, he likely won't play on Thursday, as he doesn't have a ton of time to learn the playbook yet. But, when he does, expect an immediate impact. This was a great signing for the Broncos.
