The Denver Broncos are wasting no time after the NFL draft to fill out the rest of their roster. Sean Payton and the front office brought in yet another capable starter who can compete with Jarrett Stidham and Russell Wilson.

All competition is good competition, especially at the quarterback position. With the way last season played out, everything should be on the table. Denver simply needs to be better.

It was reported that the Denver Broncos would be bringing in XFL standout and a former member of the Dallas Cowboys, Ben DiNucci.

Ari Meirov (@MySportsUpdate) appeared to break the news on Twitter of the quarterback's future. DiNucci is coming off a successful season with the XFL's Seattle Sea Dragons. DiNucci finished the year with 2,671 yards with 20 touchdowns and 13 interceptions with a 64.7% completion percentage.

DiNucci saw a career resurgence in the XFL. Previously, the talented quarterback spent one season with the Dallas Cowboys and saw limited action. During his tenure with the Cowboys, he finished his lone season with 219 yards and no touchdowns or interceptions with a 53.5% completion percentage.

DiNucci joins a crowded QB room with Russell Wilson and Jarrett Stidham. Sean Payton gushed over the addition of Stidham, hinting that he may become the Broncos QB1. That, and Denver gave up a king's ransom for Wilson. The team will do all they can to keep Wilson on the field so as to not have one of the worst trades in league history. Put plainly, DiNucci has his work cut out for him.

He's getting his second chance in the NFL, we'll see what he's able to do with it.
