One of the best Broncos players of all time looks forward to playing his former team in 2023.
The Broncos have some great players throughout the history of their franchise, but I can't think of one more loved in recent memory than Von Miller, who won a championship in Denver, among many other awards.
He is so loved not only because of what he did during his time in Denver, but also because of what he continues to do for the community of Denver, even though he has since played on two other teams. He just finished up a charity event in Denver last week.
When he talks about the Broncos in interviews, he still says "we," and when he talks about Denver, he still refers to it as home. In Week 10 he will play the Broncos at home, but not in Denver. The Bills host the Broncos on Monday Night Football, where he will still play against some of his former teammates, and some of his friends still to this day.
"I'll be ready for that, I'll be ready for that for sure'' Miller said. "(Mike) McGlinchey, Garett Bolles — both of these guys are my guys. I'll be ready for those guys, 100%."
Broncos fans – most of them knowing 2023 won't be one that has the Broncos contending for a championship – will be put in a tough spot in Week 10. A lot of fans root for the Bills solely because of Miller, just like they did when he won the Super Bowl with the Rams.
Either way, it should end up being a fun one, as both teams have some mutual respect for each other.
