Former Broncos' WR Brandon Marshall has hot take fans will love

After the expectations they had going into the 2022 season, I don't think anyone wants to be let down again, so it's safe to say the expectations are pretty low. Not many think this team will contend for the Super Bowl. If you do, maybe you need a reality check.
There are some that think this team can be a playoff team, and that's fine. They made enough moves and additions in the offseason to warrant that type of expectation. The addition of head coach Sean Payton itself is enough to think they could possibly make the playoffs.
But, for the most part, most fans don't have this team making any noise in the playoffs, and why should they? They just finished with four wins and had a catastrophe of a season.
But, one former Broncos star receiver has a hot take that fans will like to hear, for sure. Former wide receiver Brandon Marshall said on his podcast that he thinks Brandon Marshall thinks the Broncos will be 10-1 or 9-2 to start this season.
"They're going to get off to a hot start and they're going to sustain it," Marshall said on the I Am Athlete Podcast.
Now, while I and every Broncos media member and fan would love that, I just don't see it happening. That is a hot take, like scorching hot. To start 10-1 would be a miracle for this team, especially with things that happened last year.
Everything didn't just get fixed in one offseason. They still have a lot of issues, and some of those lay in the starting quarterback, who just couldn't throw the ball last season. Not to mention injuries, something the Broncos have struggled with for years.
I just can't see it happening, but I definitely appreciate the optimism from Marshall.
