Broncos to sign QB Jarrett Stidham to a two-year deal
The Denver Broncos just played their biggest rival in free agency.
The Denver Broncos just stole one of their biggest rivals' veteran players during free agency.
Per Ian Rapoport, the Denver Broncos are signing former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Jarrett Stidham to a two-year $10 million deal. The deal includes $5 million guaranteed and $4 million more in upside.
The Broncos struggled with their quarterback situation last season. Obviously, Wilson wasn't great, but even when he didn't play, Brett Rypien wasn't good either.
Stidham started the last two games for the Raiders, including a game against the San Francisco 49ers in which he threw for 365 yards and three touchdowns all against the league's best defense.
Stidham is choosing Sean Payton over his former relationship with Josh McDaniels from their time in New England.
