The Denver Broncos can't seem to catch a break when it comes to injuries.

The team suffered two key injuries in Week 1 against the Las Vegas Raiders, with both S Caden Sterns and TE Greg Dulcich exiting early. We've already learned that Sterns suffered a season-ending knee injury. Now, we're learning that the fate of Dulcich isn't exactly good either.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Dulcich is expected to be sidelined for multiple weeks with a hamstring injury. This is the same hamstring that caused him to miss a whopping seven games during the 2022 NFL season.

The former third-round pick in the 2022 NFL draft was supposed to be a key piece of the Denver offense in 2023, boasting a strong connection with QB Russell Wilson this offseason. Dulcich was playing second fiddle to Adam Trautman, who was listed as the top tight end on the Denver depth chart and played with Sean Payton in New Orleans. Now, Dulcich is doomed to suffer the same fate he did a season ago as he nurses this hamstring back to health.

Chris Manhertz and Nate Adkins will be relied upon in a greater capacity as Dulcich is sidelined for the foreseeable future. Look for the team to bring up Lucas Krull from the practice squad should Dulcich be placed on injured reserve.
