If you missed it on Sunday, something huge happened during the Denver Broncos loss to the Carolina Panthers.
It actually had nothing to do with the game but instead something that happened on the sidelines.
The Broncos are falling apart, if they weren’t already, they definitely are after the loss. There is evidence of that by defensive tackle Mike Purcell yelling at quarterback Russell Wilson on the sideline.
I think everyone saw it. It was hard not to see. The camera caught a glimpse of it and all you see is Purcell letting Wilson have it, and Wilson shaking his head up and down as if he’s agreeing.
If you rewatch the video, you can blatantly see head coach Nathaniel Hackett standing right in front of them. Remember Hackett isn’t calling plays anymore so he isn’t yelling as much, or at all in the video, so he should have heard it.
Instead, he is oblivious to what’s going on around him, as usual.
“I didn’t see it,” Hackett told reporters. “I know they are both competitors. I know Mike wants to win. He’s going to do whatever he can to try and get the team fired up. Not sure. We’ll get to the bottom of it.”
The fact that he didn’t see it or hear it is just hilarious. Like, of course he didn’t. I mean to be fair, if he did see it, and based on what we have seen if Hackett so far, I feel as if he just would have turned back around and ignored the situation.
Hackett and is oblivious to what’s happening on his team, and this time it’s kind of funny.
