The Denver Broncos may have had a terrible season last year, but ruling them out of making the Super Bowl may not be an option. Sure, they were terrible last year, as they had the worst offense in the league.
But, they have made some changes this offseason, including grabbing a coach who has actually won a Super Bowl. They made upgrades to the worst offensive line in football and actually brought in some good defensive guys to balance out the guys they lost.
Now, I'm not saying this team will win the Super Bowl, actually, I know they won't. I'm not even saying they will make the playoffs because I don't think they will do that either, but what I will say is that the sportsbooks are giving the Broncos higher odds to win the Super Bowl than you may think.
According to Vegas Insider, the Broncos have the 15th highest odds to win the Super Bowl at +4000. Now, are those odds good? No. But they aren't bad for a team that finished with the fifth-worst record last season. In fact, they have higher odds to win it all than the Las Vegas Raiders who sit at +5500.
I wouldn't bet on Denver to win it all, but man, if you have $5 to spare, you could win $205. Now, that's if something miraculous happens. But hey, never say never, right?
