The Denver Broncos have one of the best draft steals of the last decade, as ESPN recently ranked the top 50.

The Denver Broncos haven't been one of the best at getting draft steals, but they have been alright, too. They have gotten guys like Chris Harris Jr., one of the best-undrafted cornerbacks of all time, as draft steals, and then they have guys like Justin Simmons, who was a steal too.

Simmons is actually one of the best fifty draft steals of the last decade. ESPN ranked Simmons as the 33 best and the only Broncos player on this list.

Drafted: No. 98 in 2016 (Denver Broncos).
Career stats: 522 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 27 interceptions, 58 pass breakups, and 1 TD in seven seasons.
A 4.53-second run in the 40-yard dash dropped the sudden, explosive Simmons to the end of Round 3, where the Broncos made the wise decision to end his wait. Simmons was the seventh safety drafted in 2016 but has been a seven-year starter with three second-team All-Pro selections to his credit. Finding him at No. 98 overall — and keeping him in town — has been a brilliant move for the Broncos. He has at least five interceptions in each of the past three seasons. — Miller, ESPN

Simmons has been a Pro Bowler and an All-Pro second-teamer three times. He is one of the best safeties in the league and has been for some time. Snagging him was one of the best picks the Broncos have made in the last decade, especially considering it was the year after they won the Super Bowl.

The Broncos' secondary has been decent for some time now, and it's because of Simmons holding it down in the backfield. 33 seems low. He is below guys like Kevin Byard and Tyrann Mathieu, who I would take Simmons over the two today. Either way, Simmons being on this list is impressive.
