The Denver Broncos head coach did something pretty special during an OTA practice.
On Wednesday, the Broncos' Twitter account tweeted that Sean Payton invited more than 150 high school coaches from nearly 70 different schools throughout Colorado to watch him conduct a practice during OTAs.
This is something that every NFL coach could do with their OTAs. Regardless of its level, growth, development, and practice habits are essential. It starts at the high school level, and Payton realizes that.
This guy coached high school at one point in time, not very long ago, either. These coaches are getting the opportunity of a lifetime and will likely take at least one thing away from what they see.
The league is better when the talent and coaching levels are better in the leagues below the NFL. This was a huge thing to do by Payton.
