Less than 90 minutes until the Broncos' second game of the NFL season.

It will be the Denver Broncos hosting the Washington Commanders, hoping to avoid some mistakes and get back into the win column after a crushing defeat to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 1.

Unlike last season, Russell Wilson was not the problem. In fact, Wilson was one of the best QBs in terms of QBR and reminded fans that he still has some gas left in the tank. Unfortunately, the loss to TE Greg Dulcich proved to be one of the difference-makers as the team fell flat.

The team has already announced that Dulcich would be out for the next few weeks, Frank Clark is battling an injury, among the other injuries the team is facing.

With that being said, here are the players who will be inactive.

Broncos' inactive list:

  • DL Elijah Garcia
  • CB Riley Moss
  • S JL Skinner
  • OLB Frank Clark
  • C Alex Forsyth
  • DE Elijah Garcia

Commanders' inactive list:

  • DB Quan Martin
  • DE K.J. Henry
  • OT Trent Scott
  • OG Chris Paul
  • TE Curtis Hodges

Observations

CB Riley Moss was supposed to play in this game, all signs pointed to that being the case. Moss was fighting back from an injury and was a full participant in practice which makes this decision even more head-scratching.

Jerry Jeudy is back, which should help the team with the loss of Dulcich. Getting back one of your best weapons on offense, after the offense struggled, will be huge for the team looking to get back into the win column.

Unfortunately, the team is going up against DE Chase Young as he is finally back and healthy. The offensive line is in for a tough test as Young is one of the very best to do it. Here's hoping both sides of the line can dominate, and we can all be celebrating in a few hours.

Find a way to win.
