The Denver Broncos finally got back into the win column with a thrilling comeback victory over the winless Chicago Bears in a battle for the first overall draft pick in the upcoming NFL draft.

In all seriousness, the team had a lot of heart and fought their way back into this game with a depleted defense that has been decimated by injuries. To add insult to injury (no pun intended) one of their star players, RB Javonte Williams, was injured in the contest.

While his injury provided a chance for undrafted rookie RB Jaleel McLaughlin a chance to shine, which he did exceptionally well, the fanbase has been holding their breaths waiting for any update on his injury.

Williams had an intense rehab program and was fighting to get back on the field this season, making his injury even that much more scary. Luckily, Adam Schefter provided an update that should bring a smile to all of the Broncos' fans' faces.

Schefter reported that the star back suffered a hip flexor and isn't expected to miss much time, if any.

It's yet to be seen whether or not Sean Payton will rest him, giving him some time to heal up to avoid a re-injury, or if the team will rush him back as they look to stack wins.

Nevertheless, the team found a way to avoid disaster with the latest health update. After a short season filled with season-ending injuries to both sides of the football for the Broncos, this is an update we needed to hear.
