The Denver Broncos' new head coach, well, interim head coach, backed up one of his coaches after a recent questionable decision, and you almost have to love it.

Let's just start with the recent news that has surrounded the Broncos as of late.

Well, Nathaniel Hackett was fired on Monday. Later that day, Jerry Rosburg was named interim head coach, and special teams coordinator Dwayne Stukes, and offensive line coach Butch Barry, were also fired.

We also later learned that defensive coordinator Ejiro Ever was offered the interim head coach job first. However, Evero declined and said he would like to spend the rest of the season focusing on the defense.

A lot of people labeled that a questionable decision. Why would a guy that has never been a head coach turn down the offer? Well, there are a few different reasons, but I think most already know those.

Rosburg was then offered the job, and, well, of course, he took it.

After finding out Evero declined the offer, Rosburg said it only made him respect Evero even more. He knew that Evero and Hackett were very, very close.

"If that had happened to me with another close friend of mine in my career, I hope I would have done the same thing," Rosburg said.

You have to love the way Rosburg has backed his guy. While there are only two games left, that's still something you love to see. This team, even with just two weeks left, needs a sense of family and togetherness, even if there is a chance Rosburg won't be around next year.

Rosburg now has more respect for Evero, as he should.
