The Denver Broncos are firing on all cylinders. Russell Wilson looks fantastic as the offensive line is holding up long enough for him to dissect the defense. Sean Payton has to be happy with the team's performance so far.

However, not all of it is sunshine and rainbows. During a crucial fourth down, the Commanders were able to connect for a touchdown to TE Logan Thomas to bridge the gap between the two teams.

When bringing down the football, Kareem Jackson used the crown of his helmet and targeted Thomas as he brought in the touchdown. Subsequently, Jackson was ejected from the contest.

The team will now be without one of their team captains and an important piece to their defense for the rest of the game. Jackson's hit has no place in football and could've resulted in serious injury.

Here's hoping Thomas is okay and maybe Payton has a difficult discussion with Jackson postgame.
