One of the Denver Broncos' biggest legends is going to honor another legend at the Hall of Fame game.
Not only did the football world, but the world in general, lost a shining light when Demaryius Thomas passed away. The Broncos legend will never be forgotten, and one other Broncos legend, Demarcus Ware, is making sure of that.
During the Hall of Fame Game, the first preseason game of the year, the Cleveland Browns will take on the New York Jets, and before the game, Ware will give a speech and sing the national anthem to honor Thomas.
"The ice has melted, and things are starting to heat up a little bit because we are getting closer to that speech time," Ware said recently. "What's even more challenging is singing that national anthem. Singing the national anthem is one of the hardest things. But now, this is the time where we [Thomas] will be able to connect for one moment."
Ware and Thomas are two guys that everyone loves, especially in the Broncos fanbase and community. To see Ware do that before the Hall of Fame Game will truly be special.
