The Denver Broncos moved on from edge rusher Bradley Chubb earlier today.

He had been one of their best players on defense this season. That being said, they like their depth and just added to it.

The Broncos are trading for Jets' pass rusher Jacob Martin. Denver is sending a 2024 fourth-round pick.

The Broncos are also receiving a 2024 fifth-round pick with Martin.

Martin was a sixth-round pick in 2018 and started 14 of 17 games last year for the Texans. He had played well for the Jets, but they have younger pieces returning from injury soon at DE.

It isn't an eye-popping move for the Broncos, but they didn't need that. They added a capable player with plenty of experience.

Martin has fifteen career sacks.

The defensive line rotation in Denver makes plenty of sense for him.

The front office trusts the guys that they still have on their pass rush unit, especially the young talent.

Martin becomes another solid piece for one of the best defenses in the NFL.
