The Denver Broncos are a team that needs help everywhere, and luckily, they have the draft coming up and a new ownership group that loves to spend money. This is a franchise that will do whatever they have to if it wants to get back to its winning ways, it has just taken them longer than it would have liked.
They can do that through the trade market, in which they are a team that should be interested in one of the best defensive players in the league. According to Jenna Laine of ESPN, Tampa Bay Buccaneers All-Pro linebacker Devin White has demanded a trade.
One NFL analyst thinks the Denver Broncos are a team that would be a perfect fit for the standout linebacker.
Vance Joseph's ultra-aggressive scheme makes Denver a potential landing spot. White's disruptive potential as a pass-rushing ILB would enable the Broncos to attack from the inside out to force quarterbacks to move off of their spots within the pocket. And his experience neutralizing Patrick Mahomes (SEE: Super Bowl LV) could come in handy as Sean Payton attempts to assemble a lineup to threaten Kansas City's eternal reign in the division. Given a chance to upgrade the middle of the defense with a young and dynamic defender, the Broncos could look to pounce on the disgruntled LB. – Bucky Brooks, NFL.com
The Broncos' defense would be back to its elite form if they were to get White. He is a guy that has elite sideline to sideline speed that Denver hasn't had in a while. They would also be getting a guy who is still fairly young and is only getting better.
Both sides of the ball need help for the Broncos. Adding White would be a great idea, it's just about whether or not they can offer more than another team with their low draft capital.
