The Denver Broncos had some trouble in one particular area on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, and I think we all saw it. I mean, heck, even Nathaniel Hackett pointed out that the game plan didn't work.

This league is full of great players constantly being cycled in and out. Some of the guys who dominated at the beginning of the previous decade are now being forgotten about. Guys like J.J. Watt, Chandler Jones, etc.

On Sunday, Watt was not forgotten about, as he made his presence known, and everyone on the Broncos felt it.

"JJ [Watt] is a very good football player," Hackett said. "Being in Jacksonville for as long as I was, I had a lot of nightmares about him… I mean he is spectacular. He can take over a game at any time."

Hackett used to have to game plan for Watt twice a year when he was with the Jaguars and Watt was in Houston. I'm sure, especially during that time, he really did give him nightmares, as Watt was in his prime at that time, and even a little better then than he is now.

Watt is a guy who is so ridiculously strong it's crazy. He is more athletic, stronger, and smarter than anyone you line up against him. His only defect is that sometimes his body gives out on him, which most of the time is completely out of his control.

Watt used to be one of those guys that you couldn't really stop, you could only contain. On Sunday, he looked like that again, as he was having his way.

"We developed a plan to try and contain him. It wasn't working," Hackett told reporters.

I like that he was honest and didn't say that he thought they did a good job of containing him, because we all saw that they did the exact opposite of that. Watt had three sacks on the day.

Good thing the Broncos aren't in the NFC West, where they would have to face him and Aaron Donald twice a year.
