The Denver Broncos have stolen another former rivals player.

The Broncos started their first day of padded practice on Monday. Before practice kicked off, there was some news regarding a few team moves.

According to Mike Klis of Denver 9 News, the Broncos have signed former Chiefs' offensive guard Yasir Durant and waived offensive tackle Christian DiLauro to make room for the addition.

This is now the third player in the last year the Broncos have seemingly "stolen" from the Chiefs, even though they didn't technically steal Durant because it has been a few years since he was in KC. Fullback Mike Burton, defensive end Frank Clark, and now Durant have all had a lot of success with the Chiefs.

The Broncos are trying the blueprint of a winning team from their rival. The Chiefs have won two Super Bowls in the last four years, so they are obviously doing something right, as much as the Broncos hate it.

However, they do things the right way, developing and recruiting certain players that fit their culture. Those guys are bought into winning, and the Broncos would like to get more of that on their team.

We can easily see that George Paton's approach since Sean Payton has been in Denver is different. They are taking guys with experience in winning to try and turn this franchise around. And it just might work.
