The Denver Broncos are much better on paper going into the 202 seasons, but does that mean they will have a better season? One analyst seems to think so.

The Broncos added a new head coach, who has actually coached before and has also won a Super Bowl in Sean Payton, where Nathaniel Hackett had never even called plays, from what we heard. Not only that, but they added a head coach who will set the offense up to help Russell Wilson

Then they fixed some of the offensive line issues in the draft, while also replacing some of the defensive pieces they lost. Then you get to the draft and they have a few picks that are steals. Drew Sanders looks like he can compete for a starting job and Riley Moss looks to be a guy that can produce immediately.

But, even with all of that together, does that mean the Broncos can finish with a record over .500? Or even better, does that mean they can finish second in the division? One NFL analyst seems to think so.

Denver Broncos Caesars Win Total: 8.5 (-110) Brinson Projected Record: 9-8 Six weeks with Sean Payton and Russell Wilson working together could tell us a lot: trips to Miami and Kansas City, plus the Jets and Raiders visiting Mile High Stadium might let us know if Denver's going to be in the AFC mix. Just remember: it can't be as bad as 2022. -Will Brinson, CBS Sports

Finishing 9-8 would be amazing for the Broncos, and it would have them second in the division, and by this model that Will Brinson did, has them as the seventh seed in the playoffs. But, I don't think that happens.

The Broncos finished with five wins last year, and are still a ways away from competing for the playoffs. Now, if it does happen, that would be great, but I see them around that seven-win range which is still improvement.
