The Denver Broncos have some tough decisions to make regarding what they do in the 2024 NFL Draft, but also free agency, which starts on Wednesday, as the legal tampering period starts on Monday.

The Broncos need to fill several positions, including a quarterback position, unless they want to go into the draft and try to trade up. They just let Russell Wilson walk, and have to pay his salary for 2024, for whoever it may be that signs Wilson on a veteran minimum.

The Broncos may be looking to go the draft route, as some recent news would suggest that the Broncos have withdrawn themselves from looking for a quarterback through free agency.

According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Broncos were in the running and very interested in signing free agent Kirk Cousins. Now, they are no longer pursuing him.

If the Broncos want to go after a quarterback in the draft, there is a very good chance they will either need to trade up or get one of the lesser guys on day two. They need a quarterback, though, and need a guy they can rebuild around. It appears that it more than likely will not be Kirk Cousins.
