Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has already mastered the art of talking to the media

The Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos had a much different game than I think everyone expected them to have when they kicked off Week 5. The Raiders had won eight straight against the Broncos, with Denver's last win coming against the Oakland Raiders in 2019. So, even with the Raiders' huge injury issues, it was thought that the rivalry divisional game would be close.
Boy, we were wrong, in two ways.
The game started with the Raiders looking like they would run away with it. Obviously, the Broncos ended up doing that instead. But, it all came after a sideline incident that definitely needed to happen. After a throw that didn't end up working out. Rookie quarterback Bo Nix came to the sideline and jawed off a bit to head coach Sean Payton.
Payton doesn't think much of it.
"It's just, I love him to death, it's just my love language," head coach Sean Payton said after the win. "No, absolutely not," Payton continued when asked if he could reveal what was said.
The rookie was then asked what he said to Paytion, and, you can tell he has mastered the art of talking to the media.
"He turned looked at me and said I love you. I turned and said I love you back," Nix said with a straight face that turned to a laugh.
It's clear he's had some PR training during his time at both Auburn and Oregon, where he was oftentimes the talk of the town, being he's the quarterback.
Nix has struggled to start the year, and it looks like he finally let some frustrations out, which can be good. He and Payton talked after the incident, if you want to call it that, and they both listened to one another. This is the start of a great relationship, much different than the one we saw with Russell Wilson. I wouldn't make anything of this, but Nix's response was certainly funny.
The Broncos, with three straight wins over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Jets, and now Las Vegas Raiders, will play the Los Angeles Chargers next for a challenge to improve to 2-0 in the AFC West. Fans in Denver are now starting to hope the Kansas City Chiefs lose to the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football even more.
