There are a ton of things you can place the blame on for this putrid season put on display by the Denver Broncos. I think it;'s a mixture of just everything going wrong, including the play by Russell Wilson. But, some Ravens players think Wilson still has it.

“I played against ‘Russ’ [Russell Wilson] a bunch," Ravens' Calais Campbell said. "We were in the same division for a long time. I respect his game at the highest level, what he can do, the way he moves around in the pocket, the way he creates [and] extends plays. He makes a lot of plays doing that.”

If anyone on the other team's sideline knows about Wilson, it's Campbell, who played with the Arizona Cardinals from 2008-2016 and played against Wilson twice a year from 2012-2016, which is at least 10 games.

It's safe to say he has seen Wilson do it all pretty much.

Now, some of the younger guys on the Ravens are playing Wilson on the back end of his greatness. In other words, they didn't see Russell Wilson dominate the game like maybe Campbell did.

But they still know. Patrick Queen still knows.

“Everyone knows Russell Wilson [and] what he did in the past," Queen said. "He’s still capable of it. So, when you have a guy like that who knows the game, is very athletic, has an arm, [and] can do it all, you have to prep. You have to be at your all-time best with prepping.

“He’s still got it, Yes, he’s getting older, and he might have slowed down a little bit, but he still can move. He’s just different. ‘Danger-Russ,’ whatever they used to call him… You have to be on your Ps and Qs with this guy. Like I said, he has an arm, he can run a little bit still, knows our defense, knows his reads, obviously, as a quarterback, all that stuff that quarterbacks do to try to look us off. So, we have to be on our Ps and Qs about everything. [He’s] a great quarterback from what I’m still seeing.”

I don't know if these guys have been watching the Broncos' games, but Wilson does not look like the guy they are describing. As a matter of fact, they have been watching Wilson, as proofed by Justin Tucker and a few other players mocking Wilson on their private jet.

Sure, we all still hope Wilson has it because he is only 34 years old. But, as of right now, it isn't looking like he still has it. It's great to see the Ravens give the guy some credit though, even if they are lying.

Ask Broncos fans, and they will completely disagree with them.
